When do I pay?
To confirm and guarantee your booking we require full payment for the course to be paid.
This can be done on our secure ‘shop page’ on www.kitejunkies.com. On our store we use PayPal to process our online payments. PayPal has usually better exchange rates teh what you will get if you pay by card in Egypt. So we recommend that you pre pay to get the best deal.
Once you are at the centre you can pay the in Euros, GBP, EGP, USD or card (Visa credit, Visa Debit and MasterCard ONLY). Euros are preferred, card payments are subject to 2.9% charges and payment must be taken in EGP (Egyptian Pounds). All our prices are in Euros and payments done in other currencies are subject to our daily exchange rate.
Are there any bank charges with credit card payments?
All card payments attract a 2.9% bank charge. The charge is the same on-line or on-site and applies to ALL card payments (Debit and Credit)
What currencies can I pay in?
Online you can pay in Euros but PayPal will give you an immidiate amount for your home currency.
On-site with Card in EGP only ; With cash in Euros, GBP, EGP, USD.
What happens if there is no wind for lessons?
We will try to re-schedule the lesson. If you can’t we will refund your unused hours.
What happens if I am sick and cannot finish the lessons?
If you are sick we will try to re-schedule if we have availability. If you can’t or we don’t have availability you will need to claim it from your travel insurance.
What happens if I turn up late for my lessons?
Group lessons will start at the schedule time. If the lesson started less than 20 mins ago you will be able join otherwise you will have to be re-schedule.
What happens if I want to cancel my lessons?
Up to a month before - Full refund
Up to 1week before – 20% deposit
Less than a week – 100% (must be claimed from travel insurance)
When do I have to pay for booked accommodation?
All accommodation must be paid in full and cleared in our account 6 weeks before arrival date.
What level do I have to be to rent equipment?
You must be IKO level 2 as a minimum requirement. You don’t need an IKO card but we will check your level before renting equipment.
Do you offer insurance?
If you are on a course, third party insurancer is included. We STRONGLY recommend that you travel with Insurance that includes Kite Surfing. You will find a link on oou Sharm Info Page, to purchase travel insurance.
If you are renting equipment you can purchase additional insurance to cover any damage to the equipment. There is an excess of 100 Euros. i.e. the first 100 Euros of each claim must be paid by you. There is a list available with the retail price of the equipment if you want to know how much you might have to pay should you not buy the equipment insurance.
